I Like Finding Connections Between the Numerology of Our Personal 9 Year Cycle and Astrology

And to be honest, I always do. Learning more about your personal annual number can help solidify the universal message that surrounds you. While my gifts are most connected to the planetary cycles, I’ve truly enjoyed looking at connections between our personal numerology and astrology. They usually go hand in hand and reaffirm what’s most in play for us each year.

I find connecting the personal 9 year cycle with the seasons is the simplest to understand; where 1 is the beginning of spring and 9 is the winter. Let’s explore each of the numbers and their meaning. In order to find yours, take your birth month  + birth day + current year and add up till you get to a single digit.

For Example: Year 2019 (Keep in mind that the number of your personal year change every year)

March 3 = 3 + 3 + 2 + 0 + 1 +9 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9

Dec 18 – 1 + 2 + 1 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6

Planting New Seeds

The Personal “1” Year represents the snow melting and early Spring on the horizon. It’s time for totally new beginnings and planting of new seeds. This is a creative and confident year.

Connecting to Others For Help

The Personal “2” Year represents the Spring now in motion. There is a necessity to find others to help us with our growth and new beginnings. This is a time of cooperation and balance but a vulnerable time, as well. We need others to help strengthen our positioning and roots.

Becoming Visible and Finding New Expression

The Personal “3” Year represents late Spring and our seeds now breaking through the soil. Now is the time where we need visibility and have a desire to be “seen and heard.” Finding new ways to express ourselves becomes important but we are also still sensitive. It’s important to keep “pushing through” this year and reminding ourselves that “WE CAN DO IT.”

Establishing Roots

The Personal “4” Year is a critical and important year representing early Summer. This is the point where we establish ourselves and find stabilization, as well as grounding. Now our roots have the potential to grow thicker and stronger.

Blossoming and Bearing Fruit

The Personal “5” Year represents the Summer and the blossoming and bearing of fruit. If you’ve made good use of the last 4 years, this is an abundant year and time for celebration. We now have a new sense of freedom and discipline attractive to others.

Giving Back and Dutiful

The Personal “6” Year represents late Summer and a call to “share” the harvest. It’s a year of duty, responsibilities and need to share our good fortune. It’s also a year of acceptance of our “bigger picture.” Our vision becomes clearer.

Gratitude and Looking Back

The Personal “7” Year represents the Autumn and a time to be greatful rather than goal-oriented. This is a year where we need to trust our process and be open to all the things surrounding us. Looking back is beneficial as it helps to give insight into what we truly need.

Abundance and Power

The Personal “8” Year represents late Autumn and our time to reap the harvest. This is a year of abundant rewards and the quality of our harvest reflects what we’ve done over the prior 7 years.

Completion and Letting Go

The Personal “9” Year represents the Winter and a year of integrity and wisdom. This is a year of completion, letting go and quiet reflection. It’s a period of looking back and time to turn the soil in order to get ready for the next Spring cycle.
