Discovering Our Karmic Destiny with the Moon’s Nodes
The Moon’s Nodes in are karmic indicators in our astrological makeup.
Our personal Astrology holds many of the keys to understanding what our personal strengths and weaknesses are. The Moon’s Nodes and their meaning helps us to gain a firm understanding into what these things are.
These karmic indicators are very helpful in figuring things out. The Moon’s Node’s consist of both the North Node and the South Node. Each is important and should be looked at in order to gain a better understanding of YOUR LIFE PATH as well as WHY you are here.
The North Node shows us where you are headed or what your future entails.
It shows the purpose of our life and what we should ultimately be learning. I always think of the North Node as a lucky spot in your chart as when it’s sparked in just the right way – it can help you along in your path creating some opportunity or help to get you to where your supposed to be. Following the path of your North Node will give you the most fulfillment out of life.
The South Node- is the exact opposite. It shows what you’ve already mastered in past lifetimes and have brought with you here.
These skills, traits and insights are with you always and knowing this can help you tap into those valuable resources that you may forget you have. However, it’s actually easiest for us to revert to our South Node ways as that’s what we know best. Sometimes we revert to these things a little too quickly and I’ll get to that in just a bit!
The Nodes can work as our very own personal advisors … and who doesn’t need that every once and again These special markers can give you the answer that so many of us ask which is “Why am I here?” There placement can show you what you should pursue as well as what skills you’ve already developed that can ultimately help you attain your goals.
Some people, through fear or lack of motivation, pursue the easy way of their South Node. *Remember the South Node is what you’ve already mastered so it’s EASIEST to take that path. Sticking with easy won’t give you life fulfillment however.
The Moon’s Nodes are always activated during the Eclipses that take place approx. 2 times a year.

Pursuing your North Node objectives is what gets you the most out of life.
Keep in mind that your North Node is where you are heading and your South Node is where you’ve been. Finding yours may help you get to the place where you’re ultimately supposed to be.

It’s very important to look at both the sign and house that your Nodes live in. You have to blend the characteristics of each element in order to gain the most understanding. North Node in Aries or the First House – South Node in Libra or the Seventh House
Your greatest growth will come from developing your own personality and power. You’ve been too dependent on others in the past and now it’s time for you to shine on your own!
North Node in Taurus or the Second House – South Node in Scorpio or the Eighth House
Your greatest fulfillment will come through enjoying your possessions or pleasures. In the past you’ve worked hard at helping others find their value and self-worth and now is the time for you to enjoy them yourself!
North Node in Gemini or the Third House – South Node in Sagittarius or the Ninth House
Your greatest growth will come through mental stimulation or expressions. In the past you might have been too emotional in your thinking and now is the time to be logical and rational.
North Node in Cancer or the Fourth House – South Node in Capricorn or the Tenth House
Your greatest fulfillment will come through taking care of your family and home. In the past you may have been a workaholic or focused too much on things outside of your family … now’s the time where you’re called to focus on your home life.
North Node in Leo or the Fifth House – South Node in Aquarius or the Eleventh House
Your greatest growth will come through being creative & gaining recognition. In the past you may not have accepted approval or acknowledgment easily and now is the time for you to take it willingly.
